Winter Storm Watch in Western South Dakota

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch in Western South Dakota, USA.
Blizzard conditions and winds gusting as high as 60 mph are possible in the forecast area. Total snow accumulation of 5 to 12 inches are possible.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Power outages and tree damage are possible due to the ice. Travel could be nearly impossible. Blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning and evening commute. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.
The alert area covers Butte; Harding; Northern Meade Co Plains; Perkins and Ziebach counties.
The winter storm watch remains in effect from Wednesday morning through Thursday afternoon, 3/13/2019.
