Winter Storm Watch in Western South Dakota

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch in Western South Dakota, USA.
Heavy snow and winds gusting as high as 60 mph are possible in the forecast area. Total snow accumulation os 6 to 12 inches, with locally higher amounts are possible.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Winter driving conditions can be expected. Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. The hazardous conditions could impact commutes through the entire warning period. 
The alert area covers Custer Co Plains; Fall River; Haakon; Hermosa Foot Hills; Jackson; Oglala Lakota; Pennington Co Plains; Rapid City; Southern Foot Hills; Southern Meade Co Plains.
The winter storm watch remains in effect from late Tuesday night though Thursday afternoon, 3/14/2019.
