Heavy snow and winds gusts as high as 60 mph are possible in the forecast area. Total snow accumulations of 6 to 12 inches, with locally higher amounts are possible. Blizzard conditions and significant drifting are likely with heavy snow and wind gusts
ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Winter driving conditions can be expected. Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. The hazardous conditions could impact commutes through the entire warning period.
The alert area covers Banner; Box Butte; Cheyenne; Dawes; Kimball; Morrill; North Sioux; Scotts Bluff; South Sioux.
