Winter Storm Warning in Southwestern California

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning in Southwestern California, USA.
Heavy snow is expected in the forecast area. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 4 inches are expected on elevations between 5000 to 5500 feet,  5 to 10 inches above 5500 feet, and isolated amounts of a foot or more, especially over the San Bernardinos, including in and around Big Bear and the resorts.
Winds will increase out of the northeast Monday night at 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 40 mph.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Winter driving conditions can be expected. Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. The hazardous conditions could impact commutes through the entire warning period. Power lines could be impacted by the persistent moderate to heavy snowfall rates
The alert area covers: Riverside County Mountains; San Bernardino County Mountains; San Diego County Mountains.
The warning remains in effect from noon Monday to 2 PM Tuesday, 3/12/2019.
