Winter Storm Warning in Southeastern Wyoming
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning in Southeastern Wyoming, USA.
Heavy snow and wind gusting as high as 45 mph are expected or occurring in the forecast area. Total snow accumulations of 12 to 20 inches, with amounts up t 2 feet at ridge top, are expected.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Winter driving conditions can be expected. Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations. The hazardous conditions could impact commutes through the entire warning period. Power lines could be impacted by the persistent moderate to heavy snowfall rates.
The alert area covers Central Carbon County; Ferris, Seminoe, Shirley Mountains; Sierra Madre Range; Southwest Carbon County.
The warning remains in effect until 6 PM Thursday, 3/14/2019.
