Winter Storm Warning in Northern South Dakota

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning in Northern South Dakota, USA.
Heavy mixed precipitation and winds gusting as high as 55 mph are expected in the forecast area. Total snow accumulations of 6 to 10 inches and ice accumulations of up to three tenths of an inch are expected.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Winter driving conditions can be expected. Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. The hazardous conditions could impact commutes through the entire warning period. Power lines could be impacted by the persistent moderate to heavy snowfall rates.
The alert area covers Brown; Buffalo; Hand; Hyde; Lyman and Spink counties.
The warning remains in effect from 7 AM Wednesday to 1 AM Friday, 3/15/2019.
