Winter Storm Warning in Northeastern Colorado

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning in Northeastern Colorado.
Moderate to heavy snowfall is expected to continue falling over Summit County through the early morning hours.
Additional snow accumulations of 6 to 12 inches and winds gusting as high as 55 mph are expected in the forecast area.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Winter driving conditions can be expected. Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. The hazardous conditions could impact commutes through the entire warning period. Power lines could be impacted by the persistent moderate to heavy snowfall rates.
The alert area covers: South and Southeast Grand, West Central and Southwest Boulder, Gilpin, Clear Creek, Summit, North and West Park Counties Above 9000 Feet.
The warning remains in effect until 5 PM Thursday, 3/7/2019.
