Oklahoma: Fire weather watch issued in Central State


A "Fire weather watch" was issued for Central Oklahoma, SUA.

Strong winds, between 15 and 30 mph, with gusts up to 40 mph are expected across the region. Very dry fuels along with today's high temperatures will result in critical fire weather across the area.

The alert area include Alfalfa, Beckham, Custer, Dewey, Ellis, Harper, Major, Roger Mills, Washita, Woods and Woodward counties.


The "fire weather watch" remains in effect until Wednesday, 03/14/2018, at 8 PM.
