Florida: Low hazardous chemical spillage after train derails in Quincy
A CSX train derailed at the intersection of Pat Parkway and Live Oak Street. A small leak of Adipic acid (a solid chemical that could be found in the production of gelatin food) was spilled on the ground.
The officials says that the spillage is a non-toxic product and is not toxic for the environment or for humans.
Pat Thomas Parkway was closed in both direction.
No person was injured and an investigation is ongoing.
