Flood Warning for Lee County, Arkansas
The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Warning for Lee County, Arkansas.
The Flood Warning continues for the Mississippi River at Tunica Riverpark.
Moderate flooding is forecast. At 6 PM Sunday, the flood stage was 37.9 feet. The river is forecast to rise above flood stage by Wednesday February 13 and continue to rise to near 48.5 feet by Thursday February 21, then fall below flood stage by Saturday March 02.
IMPACT: At stages of 49.0 feet, water is beginning to go over Loggerhead Lane going into Bordeaux Camp. Drum Cove is flooding. Buffalo Drive is mostly covered. South ends of Ricky and Brown Roads are flooded. Street out of Nel-Win Camp is flooded. Tammy and Lloyd Roads are flooded. Bee Trail and Plum Road are going under water. The east part of Sherry Lane is being covered. Peters Island is almost completely covered.
The warning remains in effect from Wednesday, 2/13/2019, until Sunday, 3/2/2019.
