Flash Flood Warning for Lexington and Richland Counties, SC

The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Warning for Lexington and Richland Counties, South Carolina
Doppler radar indicated heavy rain across the warned area. Total rainfall will be 2 to 4 inches across the area. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.
Some locations that will experience flooding include...Columbia, Lexington, West Columbia, Cayce, Irmo, Forest Acres,Springdale, Dentsville, Oak Grove, St. Andrews, Red Bank, SouthCongaree, Pine Ridge, Arcadia Lakes, Five Points, Woodfield, Chapin, Seven Oaks and Lake Murray Of Richland.

The warning remains in effect until 9:15 AM.
