Fire near Wildomar and Lake Elsinore, CA

FINAL UPDATE: The fire is now 90% contained. 1,000 firefighters are trying to stop the flames and the cool weather should help with the containment. No homes have been damaged by the fire.

UPDATE 4: All roads are opened and all the evacuation orders and warnings are now lifted.  The fire is 60% contained.

UPDATE 3: The fire was estimated at 850 acres with 50% containment.

UPDATE 2: The fire was estimated at 700 acres with 15% containment. 200 residences have evacuated. No structures damaged at this time.

UPDATE: The fire which was caused by a motorcycle accident has now spread to 350 acres. Around 500 homes are under evacuation warnings. 500 firefighters are battling the blaze.

A brush fire started burning near the area of Wildomar and Lake Elsinore that grew quickly to 100 acres and was heading east toward Lakeland Village.

The fire started near the Highway Vehicle area within the Cleveland National Forest.

In less than two hours, the estimated acreage grew from 2 acres to 100 acres.

More resources have been ordered, while Cal Fire`s Riverside`s units were working on the blaze.

No injuries reported yet.
