Blizzard Warning in Northeastern Colorado

The National Weather Service has issued a Blizzard Warning in Northeastern Colorado, USA
Blizzard conditions are expected in the forecast area. Total snow accumulations of 5 to 8  inches and winds gusting as high as 70 mph are expected.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Winter driving conditions can be expected. Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. The hazardous conditions could impact commutes through the entire warning period. Power lines could be impacted by the persistent moderate to heavy snowfall rates.
The alert area covers Central and South Weld County; Elbert, Central and East Douglas Counties Above 6000 Feet; North Douglas County Below 6000 Feet, Denver, West Adams and Arapahoe Counties, East Broomfield County.
The warning remains in effect from 10 AM this morning to midnight Wednesday night, 3/13/2018.
